Covering Bollywood and the Hindi Cinema

Karan Johar has donned the cap of a director, a producer and a talk show host quite successfully. Now that KANK is all set to release this Friday, the director was asked about his future plans. As expected he wants to take a break first and then talks about his future projects!                                     

His next project would be directed by Soham of Kaal fame and this is what he says:

“So far, we have finalized Sanjay Dutt, John Abraham, Kareena Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh for the project in question. We’ll be adding two more heroes to the cast,”

He wants to name the film RACE, but right now it can’t happen as the title is with Ramesh Sippy.

The second project in the pipeline would also see Johar as producer and the film would be directed by first time director Tarun Mansukhani:

"We’ve okayed the script already. All he needs to do is put the cast in place. Tarun is an extremely bright and hardworking guy,”

Oh and all you couch potatoes KJ will also shoot for the second season of his hit show KOFFEE WITH KARAN from October.

On a sidenote, I just won two tickets for KANK premiere and cant go since I' am up in the Himalayas in my summer house! Life is not fair!
