A court in Gujarat on Friday issued bailable warrants against Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and four others for filming Chinkara Commercial shooting of Chinkara is banned under the Wildlife (Protection) Act.A Chinkara, a Schedule I animal under the Act, was filmed in the 2002 super hit movie which was shot in Kutch district of Gujarat.The Chief Judicial Magistrate of Bhuj asked all the five to appear before it on April 15.

Lets hope the film industry takes the issue of protecting animals seriously and ensure that they are not sacrificed in the name of “creativity”.
