Know More: Rumors Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapur

Vishal Bhardwaj is back at what he does best, i.e. translating Shakespeare on the Indian celluloid. The grapevine is abuzz that Bhardwaj is now keen to sign on Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor in an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.

Says an industry insider:

“Vishal has wanted to adapt Romeo and Juliet for a long time, even before Maqbool and Omkara. Yet he ended up making Maqbool first, then Omkara. Priyanka Chopra is being considered to play Juliet's role.”
