Aamir Khan flew to Delhi recently to meet Opposition Leader LK Advani. No the Khan didn't want to discuss his political aspirations but met Advani to discuss Taare Zameen Par!
A source close to Aamir tells us, "Advaniji wanted to see Taare Zameen Par much earlier but he has been very busy with Gujarat elections. He had heard many good things about the film. He told Aamir that he wanted to see the film, and although Aamir is busy preparing for his next, yet untitled film, a remake of Ghajini, he has taken out time to fly down to Delhi to screen it specially for Advaniji."
The screening is exclusively for L K Advani's family and friends. Our source adds, "Aamir has told Advaniji to invite his friends and relatives. The gathering is expected to be a big one. Naturally, Aamir is elated and proud about it."
L K Advani has been following Aamir's work from the very beginning. Aamir had also arranged a special screening of Lagaan for him.
