Yesterday certain news channels (the India TV variety types) went berserk and subjected the country to hourly updates about how Rekha is now a married woman. While no one can confirm this rather shocking (so to speak news),Mumbai paper DNA gives a first hand account on the event which caused this sensational assumption and questions why Rekha was wearing sindoor? When Amitabh and Rekha walked in (albeit separately) to bless Pt Sharma’s son Rahul (who wed his sweetheart Barkha Patel on Saturday in Mumbai) it was difficult to miss the connection.

Rekha, wearing sindoor and looking stunning beautiful in a Kanjeevaram sari, even touched the feet of Pt Chaurasia. A little later, Amitabh walked in with daughter-in-law Aishwarya, who preferred to extend her regards with a ‘namaste’.
