Our Bollywood was one of the first sites to unveil Abhishek Bachchan’s Drona look and here is what Designer Anahita Oberoi has to say about the costumes.

“The ensemble Abhishek is wearing in the poster has hand made gold zari embroidery work. The costumes are quite lavish and elaborately designed.

Leading lady Priyanka Chopra too will be seen in a warrior mode for the first time.” The poster also uses the silhouette of the Kuchaman fort in Rajasthan where the film was extensively shot.

“Abhishek has been working on his Drona look with Goldie (Behl). He had a certain vision for Drona, especially when it came to look in terms of the length of the hair, the facial hair, and even the clothes he would wear.” It is learnt that Abhishek was quite kicked about using gold as a common theme colour in all the Drona publicity material. “Gold signifies not just royalty but also magnificence. Abhishek  sports various shades of gold in ‘Gold’ie’s film.”
