Sarkar Raj may just redeem RGV as a director after the abomination that was RGV’s Sholay. The movie not only is a sequel to his brilliant Sarkar but also stars the Holy Bachchan Trinity. Now the rumor mill is abuzz that Sarkar Raj is based on the SEZ issue in Nandigram.

Says a source:

“Sarkar Raj is basically the story of a conflict between a father and son played by Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan respectively. However, the film also has an integral portion where Aishwarya Rai (who plays a businesswoman) wants to build a dam… which raises a storm just like it has done in Nandigram now.”

“However Ramuji has made sure that there is no direct reference to the issue and has only used it as one of the significant parts in the film. The major part of the story is obviously based on the conflict of emotions between Amitabh and Abhishek. The film is scheduled to release early next year,” adds the source.
