The source further reveals, “Adlabs didn’t even have a story or a role to discuss. They simply told Aamir that he would have the freedom to choose three directors and Adlabs would back those three projects.”
Aamir was amused. He politely turned down the Adlabs offer and told the corporate giant that he doesn’t do films just for the sake of money. For him the script is most important,” the source adds. “Aamir was paid Rs 8 crore for Bobby Bedi’s, The Rising, Rs 10 crore for UTV’s Rang De Basanti and Rs 10 crore for Yashraj’s Fanaa,” the source from Aamir’s office says.
The source also admits that Aamir has been heavily compensated for the Ghajini remake.
“Yes, Aamir has charged Rs 20 crore for the Ghajini remake.”
