The Himesh Reshammiya phenomenon grows much to our surprise and horror. The Bhatt Camp has signed up the singer turned actor. Pooja Bhatt will direct the Nasal Wonder (or is it blunder?) and her only condition is that the cap must go!![]()
Says a source, “It is known that Himesh has undergone a hair transplant. So, it's really not an issue with the musician-turned-actor to be seen without headgear.”
Pooja says, “He will have three looks in the film. He will don the cap in few portions. We can't take away from what his image is, but at the same time, we can't stop giving something new to the public. The script demands that he does not wear a cap and he will do that - no base ball cap, no skull cap, nothing to cover his head whatsoever.”
“I don't know why hair is such an issue in this world. I am married to a man (Munish Makhija) who is bald,” she adds jokingly.
“The film is inspired by a true incident. It is the story of a lawyer from India in pre-independence days. He met a girl in Morocco whom he fell in love with at first sight. But she disappears. He tracks her down in Hiramandi red light area in Pakistan.”
Mahesh adds, “That same man (lawyer) constructed Lal Haveli where the Information & Broadcasting Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed stays. Rashid told me this story. It stayed with me and we decided it to put it on celluloid.”
