The National Film Awards continue to be a hot-bed of controversies which is expected whenever there is politics involved in the entertainment scene!

Bachchan fans are miffed on the report that Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, did not shake hands with Amitabh Bachchan when he went on stage to receive the Best Actor Award for Black (2005)  from the President.

Why ? Because Bachchan got politician and self-anointed critic of Sonia Ganhid , Amar Singh to the ceremony. To make matters worse Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Nanda were seated away from Amitabh, and to begin with not in the front row. Nafisa Ali later broke protocol and brought them to a front row.
