Covering Bollywood and the Hindi Cinema

The results for the 53rd Indian National Awards were finally (stress on finally) announced last night and as expected Amitabh Bachchan Amitabh Bachchan and Sarika bagged the awards for best actor and actress. The Bengali film Kaalpurush, which deals with a man's struggle with his father's memories, was awarded the best feature film.

Rang De Basanti was also honored and won in the Bets Popular Film Category. As you can see Bollywood did exceptionally well as usually the awards are dominated by regional cinema.
