"Though the case filed by Bachchan has hurt our reputation, we have not yet initiated any legal proceedings against the star and will prefer to sort out the matter amicably," Shukla's brother Vijay, told in Barabanki.
"Our family has old relations with the Bachchans," he said adding, however, that he would contemplate legal action if the matter was not settled amicably.
Bachchan had recently filed a complaint with the Mumbai police alleging that Shukla had misused his power of attorney and had bought him a farmland by furnishing fake documents.
