Covering Bollywood and the Hindi Cinema

What Bollywood doesn’t need is yet another remake, unfortunately there seems to be no respite in the near future. Sudhir Mishra has announced a remake of the film Devdas for Pritish Nandy Communications. However Mishra’s Devdas would be sans any melodrama (remember Bhansali’s version?) and would actually the present day Indian politics. This one sounds interesting and reportedly Shiny Ahuja is playing the lead.
