Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Chupke Chupke was one the most brilliant comedies in the history of Indian Cinema. It’s also a pity that film-makers of  today only know how to make slapstick comedies and they should take a pointer or two from comedies of yesteryears. Now TV actor- turned-film producer Vishwaas Paandya has acquired the rights of the film and so be prepared for a remake.

"It will be more of an adapted version. I have to keep in mind the changing times as well, but the film will retain its middle class values”, said Vishwaas.
