One movie that I am really looking forward to is Gandhi My Father that revolves around the troubled relationship between Mahatma Gandhi and his son Harilal. Many of us are unfamiliar with this facet of Gandhi’s life however veteran thespian of Indian theatre Feroze Khan seeks to change this.
The film has been adapted from Khan’s play Mahatma v/s Gandhi and centers
around Harilal who succumbed to alcoholism and could not live under the shadow of his father.
The tagline reads “To the people he was a father…To his son he was the father he never had” and check out the theatrical trailer. I must say Akshaye Khanna looks absolutely brilliant as Harilal and is one of the most under-rated actors in Bollywood.
