Covering Bollywood and the Hindi Cinema

Jhoom Barabar may have disappointed many but actor Abhishek Bachchan stands by the movie. According to him the movie failed because certain sections of audience didn’t get the humor. Really there was humor? I must have been distracted looking for the plot.

Anyways here is Bachchan Jr’s two cents:
Even while we were shooting Jhoom..we knew the humour, being so unprecedented, would take time to find its groove among the audiences. Shaad and we all knew a lot of the audience wouldn't get the point. But we were sure Jhoom would find its level. If you remember, Bunty Aur Babli too unsettled the audience initially."
