Himesh Reshammiya may not be a part of RGV’s Sholay but that has not stopped him to do his own version of the classic hit number Mehbooba! In RGV’s Sholay Urmila will sizzle In Mehbooba and in Reshammiya’s version, it will be none other than Mallika Sherawat. All this wants me to crawl into some hole and come back only when they stop this remake travesty! What say?

Himesh explains, “Our Mehbooba Mehbooba track is a tribute to R D Burmanji. Prashant Chaddha (director) has worked out a mind-blowing concept for the film and the best of people are working on the song to make it memorable. As a singer I have attempted to give the same energy as Panchamda. The purity of the tune has been retained; only the arrangement has been modernized, which is done by DJ Akbar Sami.’
