Shahid Kapur's career is going great guns after the surprise hit Vivaah. The actor has now been signed opposite Rani Mukherjee in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first home production. While I have full faith in Bhansali's movies, I can't say the same thing about the odd Rani-Shahid pairing!

However the movie will be directed by Sanjay's sister Bela Sehgal and co-produced by T-Series.A source in T-Series says, “Bela’s film is a period love story along the lines of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas.

Bela was heard saying:
“I am not allowed to talk about the project till the entire cast has been finalised. All I can say is that it will be a different love story. I’ve been sitting with my writers. It’s my vision.”
