Tanuja Chandra's Hope and a Little Sugar will be showcased at the International Women's Film Festival in Milan, Italy. The film has also won accolades in New York, Goa and Karachi festivals.
Says Chandra, "It's going to be very exciting for me to be a part of a gathering for which Italian female directors, actresses, technicians and women in powerful public, political and social positions assemble every year. Milan is city steeped in history and to show my film there, surrounded by Italian culture is very, very thrilling."
