Vidhu Vinod Chopra is thrilled that his movies Eklavya and Lage Raho Munnabhai have been included in the Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
One heard the director saying: “I am really happy that both of our films have

made it to the Oscar library”. Moreover, Eklavya was recently screened at the prestigious UCLA film school. The contemporary dramatic thriller got an overwhelming response from the viewers, who included Lionel Wigram (Producer of Harry Potter Films), Robert Rosen (Dean, UCLA Film School) Jeffery Silver, (Producer of 300). Silver said Eklavya was ‘a thriller that elevates to the level of art’.
According to Gregory Walsh, Script Librarian, the scripts of Eklavya and Lage Raho Munnabhai will be "part of the permanent script collection and will be made available for research only to actors, students, filmmakers and writers who are part of the regular patrons.”
