Covering Bollywood and the Hindi Cinema

Aamir Khan may be a genius and the most brilliant actor Bollywood has ever produced ( at least in my humble opinion) but the man is sure finicky! First we heard that Asin is out of his remake of the Southern hit Ghajini and how he replaced her with Ayesha Takia. Now the buzz is that Ms Takia is out too and Asin is back! What is going on Mr Khan?

Ayesha’s father Nishith Takia says, “Yes it is true that Ayesha is no longer a part of Aamir’s film. They had initially called us and finalized Aayesha’s role. But, I have no clue why she is no longer a part of the film. I don’t know what happened but I do know that they are looking out for some other girl to play Ayesha’s role at the moment. We were always under the impression that Ayesha was doing the film. However, there are no problems as far as I am concerned. I have known Madhu Varma for a long time now and we have very good relations with him. If given a chance we will definitely work together in the future.”
