Ram Gopal Verma's Sholay is in trouble and today he and Sholay producer GP Sippy's grandson, Sascha Sippy will appear in the Delhi High Court. Last year Sippy Films Pvt Ltd and Sholay Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, got an ex-parte injunction against Varma and demanded over Rs 1 crore in damages from Varma for infringement of copyright and trademark.

However RGV claims that "entirely new creation in a different background and not a remake of the original "Sholay".Yeah Ramu we believe you!

The Sippys are "worried" that the new film will become a "booming success" due to the word "Sholay" and that RGV may mislead the Indian audience. Keep watching this space for more updates.
