A source informs, "Shah Rukh had this plan for the last six months and has been
scouting areas in Bandra and Khar. However, he could not find any proper place.“He is basically looking for a building or a bungalow which he wants to convert into a bungalow. He is looking for an area which should be a minimum of 15,000 square feet. He did find a place in Juhu. Since Juhu does not permit commercial outlets except on the ground floor, his deal fell through. Now, Shah Rukh is looking for some industrial area in Andheri east and hopefully will find it soon."
"Shah Rukh started off with an SFX studio and the post-production of Farhan Akhtar's Don was done there.
“Now that he knows that his experiment has fared well, he is all set to go ahead and set up his own studio.
"SRK wants the studio in the hub of the entertainment industry which ranges from Bandra to Andheri. In this regard he has met a couple of leading brokers in Bandra.
“The search is on and he intends to start work on his ambitious project by early next year. The studio will be called Red Chilies."
