Kissing is no longer a taboo in Bollywood and now one see a number of A-List stars locking lips without any apologies! However one actor who refuses to kiss on screen is none other Shahrukh Khan and here is why:

"To be very honest I will never feel comfortable doing smooching scenes on        screen. In fact, even simple kissing is quite embarrassing for me."

"I don't feel at ease while doing romantic scenes when people are around, be it onlookers or crew members."

"That's the major reason behind my resistance to do such scences in outdoor locations. I can never do a thing if I do not feel comfortable enough",

He also feels that since Gauri doesn't like it, he ought to respect his wife's wishes and thinks most of the time there is no requirement for kisisng scenes. Kiss or no kiss, SRK has won millions of hearts with his romantic image!
