While Baabul failed to strike a chord with the Indian audience, the movie is doing great business overseas! It has already grossed about £290,000 in its first week in the UK . It is also doing pretty well in the US and grossed around $150,000 on its first day in New York and about a total of $400,000 in North America over the

weekend.
“The film was released with more than 250 prints for the overseas territory. To curb piracy on DVD, Adlabs will rent out DVDs of Baabul in the US from 15 December onwards. This initiative is the first of its kind by Adlabs,” informs BR Films business head Sanjay Bhutiani.
