Shiny Ahuja: "I Don't Mind Doing Alcohol Ads"

Shiny Ahuja is the man of the moment and has been able to make an impact in every film of his! Here are some excerpts from a recent interview:

"I heard I was throwing my weight around, making constant demands on the sets, asking for juice constantly as though I am some kind of a juice monster. I do have juice on sets, but what's so

starry about that?"

"As for my staff, please ask them if I ever throw my weight around. I even heard that (director) Sudhir Mishra is fed up of my behaviour on the sets of my new film when, in fact, he has been and continues to be my biggest supporter," Shiney said.

On His Fallout with Kangana:
"I've no problems with Kangana at all. You'll have to ask her if she has a problem with me. In fact, life couldn't get any better for me. So many things have come up simultaneously. I'm shooting non-stop till April-end.

"There's no friction from my end. Kangana is my co-star in two films. I feel we get along quite well. But she said something in an article that really surprised me. Whenever we're together, we're very comfortable with each other. It's best to keep things pleasant because you never know if you'll work together again."

On His Vodka Ad:
"It is my first endorsement after I became an actor and my first as a brand ambassador. We worked with a South African and German crew. Tejal Pattni did the cinematography. Of course, I used to model before movies.

"I don't mind doing an alcohol ad. I come from an army background where social drinking is seen as permissible. These Vodka guys insisted that I'm the right person for it. And they told me they'd have no other brand ambassador."

On His Career:
"I don't want to be labelled a serious actor. I crave for singing-dancing roles. I thoroughly enjoyed doing the 'Kya yehi pyar hai' music-video for 'Woh Lamhe'."

"I try to survive in the showbiz jungle to the best of my abilities. I'm an outsider trying my best to find a foothold."

I saw shiny ahuja's sin--then gangster and then woh lamhe..nnnn---hazaron khwahishen aisi...i think that was all to say-i loved his acting...

call it may be all were somewht based on real reel types...

HKA was an awsum movie...extremely stunning acting...
i assure his serious acting will definitely replace another 20th century's dilip kumar...

time passes--moments cherished...acting goes--movies remain...today tomorrow n ever...

hi shiny,u r the best of all.i 1st saw u in Woh lamhe and then there was no looking back.i watched gangster,hazaaron khwaishein aisi,zindegi rocks,karam,mission kashmir,ur albums,each and every single shots.wish i could see those ads again:-(....I work in a s/w company and all my colleques knw that i am not a fan but an A.C of urs.u have a very sweet smile and a very good actor.Wish i could see u offscreen,that will be the most happiest day of my life

his acting in all the films was amzing.. i met him in mumbai recently he is as same as in film... the same shiney ahuja ...i like him a lot...i just wanna say him that i will soon return his dvd ..pls contact me as soon as possible...he has my number ...i m from orissa ..i hope he remembers me

Hi zer,
Just wanted to say that Mr. Shiney is really good.
Lets hope that he doesnt become like the other actors that is arrogant.
The role he played in Gangster and Woh Lamhe are too good!!! He knows how to express himself in terms of love and I believe he might have been, somewhere, hurt in love cause am hurt too and I see it.
If am wrong, then he's No.1 in these type of roles
