Covering Bollywood and the Hindi Cinema

Our Bollywood was one of the first blogs to put the revamped teaser of Vidhu Vinod Chopra‘s Eklavya The Royal Guard. Well here is all the dope on the movie and this one looks truly promising:

In the movie as you know by now Big B plays a loyal guardian of an ancient castle who vows to protect the royal family and all their secrets!  It has been shot in the starkly beautiful Rajasthan and the director has used 800 camels for one single shot! Promising to be a visual treat and it has a run time of 100 minutes.

Boman Irani plays Rana, the head of the royal family and Saif Ali Khan plays his son. The stunning Vidya Balan plays Saif’s sweetheart and is the family chauffeur’s daughter. Sharmila plays Saif mothers (that would be interesting) and Raima Sen is her mentally challenged daughter. There is Jackie Shroff also who plays Saif’s uncle and Sanjay Dutt who plays a cop.
