Covering Bollywood and the Hindi Cinema

Madhur Bhandarkar has now made a habit of making sleazy movies in the garb of different cinema. Both Page 3 and Corporate failed to impress me though his Traffic Signal may just redeem him. Now looks like MB is also ready to expose (?) the Indian Fashion industry by  announcing “Fashion” an UTV production. Knowing Madhur this one too will focus more on the sordid side of the Fashion Industry and will go on floors by the end of the year. The movie will track the life and trials of a particular female model who reaches glorious heights in the fashion industry. Let’s just hope that it’s not another Corporate in a different setting.

Madhur was heard saying “I am looking forward to working with the UTV team on Fashion, which promises to be one of my most ambitious and exciting projects. I am currently in the process of developing the concept and screenplay with UTV and the creative team and we will be ready soon to hit the ramp!”
