Covering Bollywood and the Hindi Cinema

Karan Johar ‘s Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna is no doubt the most anticipated movie of 2006. 11th August has been finalized as its release date, however looks like there is trouble in paradise. Biswaroop Roy Choudhary, a film producer claims that he had registered for the title first and has now filed a case against Dharma Productions in the Delhi High Court. The case would be heard on 21st August and if the court finds some truth in the claim then the movie would be taken off the cinemas on 21 August! While some say this is just another way to garner publicity all I can say is that with a stellar cast, KJ doesn’t need to resort to such tactics! One would see a Rani-SRK- Bachchan-Zinta movie, no matter what’s it called!
