Covering Bollywood and the Hindi Cinema

Looks like the characters of Raju, Shyam and Baburao who were immortalized on the Indian celluloid in the brilliant Hera Pheri and the not so brilliant Phir Hera Pheri are new going to be seen in a new avatar! The dynamic producer Firoz Nadiadwala is making his foray into the animation world and wants these characters to make a comeback in an animated form. Pretty novel if you ask me. In fact the Nadiadwala banner now see’s themselves as the Indian answer to Walt Disney and also are going to make 3D animated films based on the Indian epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. Firoz will employ the services of the same team behind and in all probability J.Williams; the famous composer will do the background score! Wow I am impressed!
