Akshay Kumar has come a long way from the streets of Bangkok to the glitzy world of Bollywood. The actor on his debut was panned by almost everyone and no one ever dreamed that the tall lanky boy with a perpetual bad hair day could make it so big!   Kudos to Akshay for reinventing himself and not just relying on his looks.

Now according to the trade pundits, he’s right there with the Khans and is one of the most bankable stars in Bollywood today. His recent films have done a business of 100 Crores plus in the domestic market and now Akki is also emerging a NRI favourite, a spot which was solely reserved for the three Khans (Aamir, SRK and Salman). His films this year have already netted 3 million pounds and recently he signed a Rs 7.4 crore (Rs 74 million) for distributing his next film Jaan-e-man in the Mumbai territory. He has also a signed a deal with Reliance and Adlabs for four films which is worth Rs 25 crore (Rs 250 million). So looks like its Akshay Kumar has finally arrived.
