Covering Bollywood and the Hindi Cinema

I first came across the trailer of Mira Nair’ film’ The Namesake’ at t-hype’s site and boy was I impressed. Not exactly a ‘Bollywood’ film but hey I’m still going to talk about it since it does have Bollywood favorites like Tabu and Irfaan Khan. The movie is based on Jhumpa Lahiri’s award winning book is a poignant tale of an Indian family settled in the US and their American born son. However this is not one of those horrible clichéd ABCDs movies (American born confused desi) and there is much more to it. Don’t believe me? Well just take a look at the trailer.
