Okay guys time to break out the champagne! News is just pouring in that Rang De Basanti has been accepted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association! So hello Golden Globes! This groundbreaking movie has already achieved a cult status and is a great example of how movies influence our nation.The RBD effect was palpable when the whole nation marched in New Delhi with candles against the Jessica Lal verdict and also during the Anti Reservation Parade.Director Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra truly was succeful in ‘awakening the whole generation” from apathy and the typical ‘chalta hai’ attitude. The characters of DJ, Akash, Sukhi, Sue and Sonia will forever be immortalized in the Indian celluloid and here’s wishing the team all the best.

I love this movie, i was just listening to Roobaroo then! The magnificent Aamir Khan does it again! How i want to be that blonde girl!!! I hope it does well at the Golden Globes, it had some great lines...and since i can't speak hindi, i can only say them in english...but my favourite one went something along the lines of "we have one foot in the past and one in the future, so we're p***ing on the present" - i thought that was incredibly clever!
I like your blog by the way, it will definately go on one of my favourites!
