Dr Amitabh Bachchan. Mmm has a nice ring to it doesn’t it? No it’s not a fictional character but the Big B has been conferred with a honary degree. The De Montford University at Leicester has awarded the honorary degree of Doctorate of Arts to the Badshah of Bollywood and as expected Big B is elated. The university is flooded with Indian students and Leicester is known for screening Hindi films at regular intervals.Leicester has also been taking initiatives for making the place more Bollywood friendly by setting up state policies and post production units exclusively for Bollywood. Oh by the way looks like Mr. oops I mean Dr Bachchan is in good company, Nelson Mandela was the last person to receive this recognition from the University.
