Merchandising is taking a whole new turn in Britain! While Bollywood has recently woken up to merchandising, most of them revolve around a specific movie and the characters associated with them. However a British toy manufacturer and a NRI have taken the doll business to the next level by launching 12 inch dolls of some of the more popular Bollywood stars. So now you can have a SRK or Hrithik just beside your bedside (t-hype, hope you’re reading this!). Right now the chosen ones are Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra. The actress will be dressed in saris and the actors in western gear! All dolls would retail for 24.99 pounds! Personally I have never been fond of dolls thanks to Child’s Play but hey if a SRK comes alive, that wouldn’t be that bad, would it?
That's the second time I've heard about this today. It must be a sign!
Maybe they'll sell them on Amazon...
