We are all familiar with Rituparno Ghosh and his style of cinema. This is the man who gave us gems like Chokher Bali and Raincoat which in all honesty wasn’t your usual Bollywood fare. Now looks like RG is trying something different which in his world means doing a regular Bollywood film. Don’t worry he is not going to go totally masala on us and his first “commercial” venture will have talented stars like Sanjay Suri, Konkona Sen Sharma, Jaya Bachchan, Naseeruddin Shah and Raima Sen. According to him Sunglass (that’s what its called) is a comedy with ‘elements of fantasy’ and is shot in both Hindi and Bengali. We have to wait a while for this project as shooting starts from August 1. Oh if you still don’t believe Ghosh is directing a mainstream film , what if I tell you that this movie has 4 songs which is totally radical for RG!
